Plant Sunflowers

Hey y’all, how are you this week? I have a Post-it note stuck to my monitor telling me to plant sunflowers. I’m not sure who put it there but I think it’s a great idea, don’t you?

I’ve spent the past two days updating the website. Everything should be much easier to find and follow now. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties.

You will see multiple “Buy me a Coffee” buttons across the site. Please don’t feel intimidated by them. It’s up to you if you would like to show a little extra support or not.

If you can share my website with your groups, Guilds, and quilty friends it would be wonderful and do so much towards allowing me to continue making you smile with happy quilts.

The next instalment of the Paper Dolls Sew-Along will be released late tomorrow afternoon. Yay! Have you got your fusible webbing and scrap fabrics ready?

I’ve also been putting together some framed Nine-patch blocks with the intention of using an entire bin of small fabric scraps that would’ve normally gone to landfill. I’ve even cut up some old clothes to recycle. It’s turning out so very soft and pretty.

Well I’ve been sitting at the computer for the better part of nine hours today. My back is aching and I’m craving a coffee (and two panadol). See you this time tomorrow with the next instalment of the Paper Dolls. Much love and thank you always, toni xx

Fabric – 2020 Sew-along

Hey lovelies, some of you have asked about fabric requirements for the new Paper Dolls sew-along. I don’t have a full requirements list as yet however you will need (35) pieces of fabric measuring at least 8in x 12in. You can use the photo below as a guide.

A full requirements list will be provided on release of the sew-along. This is a guide only for those of you who want to make a start collecting fabrics. You will also need an assortment of solid skin-toned fabrics.

You will notice that I haven’t gone with the original design. It was becoming too complex and bulky. I feel that this new version will not only be easier for the beginners who follow along but a more fun quilt in the long run.
