This Little Piggy – Block #4

Hi y’all, the next instalment (No. 4) of ‘This Little Piggy’ is available for download here. Congratulations to Bronwyn H. for winning last month’s giveaway. Bronwyn’s favourite movie is ‘Titanic’. Thank you all for entering, I loved reading about your favourites movies.

Enter our Month #4 Thermo-o-Web giveaway by emailing us and finishing the following – Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O. And on that farm he had a…. fill in the blanks and make sure you add noises LoL. You know what I mean, quack quack here, quack quack there etc. Any animal, living or extinct. Have some fun.

We have an amazing pack of Therm-o-Web products to giveaway, including a pack or two of my favourite fusible webbing Heat-n-Bond Lite.

I’ve not had a great week this week, I still haven’t picked up a rotary cutter or turned on the sewing machine and it’s getting me down. Actually it’s downright terrifying. I’m so.. blank. This little black kitty is making me smile though. Step by step, day by day right?

Help nudge me along by commenting or messaging me to tell me what you’d like to see me design. Kids or adults quilts, it doesn’t matter. Whilst I adore making kids quilts, I’d love to make some quilts along more adult themes too. Thoughts?

Our Friday Favourites this week are Panda Party 2, The Lion King, and The Wild West. The PDF patterns are 40% off which makes them approx. $4.50 and the printed patterns are 25% off which make them around $11.60 depending on taxes etc.

All patterns are on special in our Etsy store – look under the Sale menu on the left-hand side of the page – and in our stand-alone web-store.

Fruity Tutti Cutie Pandas

Hi y’all, someone seems to be swiping left on my life at the moment. One minute it’s Friday and the next… it’s Friday! I picture a celestial being sitting on a cloud swiping left on their iPhone… zooom! and another week’s gone for Toni.

I did achieve some quality sewing time this week and the Tutti Fruity Pandas are almost finished. IMG_0721Sometime in the past hour I totally forgot how to do math and I’ve botched the last border. I have a date with my un-picker tomorrow, but luckily it’s an easy fix.IMG_0726A marathon quilting and writing session this weekend should see it ready for the Etsy shop sometime in the next couple of days.

I’m hoping to spend some quality time with our fern, succulent, and cactus nursery this weekend too. We’ve got a couple of hundred plants happily growing at the moment. I have no idea what we are going to do with them all, I just like growing things LOL.

Anyway lovely people, I’m going to make a midnight cuppa, chill out a little, then try and get some sleep. Have a fun weekend, toni xx

Happy Quilts is back in stock in most stores!

Tutti Fruity Pandas.

Hey y’all, how has your week been? Mine flew by and I can’t believe it’s nearly midnight on Friday night already.pandas 2

We’ve had multiple real estate agents walking through the house this week. We’re living in the middle of a $100 million dollar plus development zone, with apartments being built behind and to one side of us. We were going through the specs for this one (below) and saw our property mentioned in the development report LOL. I wish they’d buy us out already so we can move on with our lives. We’ve been living in real estate limbo for too long.

I did get a little bit of sewing done. The panda quilt has been giving me trouble and I’ve unpicked it four times so far. No wonder they were originally assigned to my scrap bin! I can report that I’ve turned the corner with them though and the quilt should be finished soon. IMG_0676

I’ll do the August giveaway draw this weekend and let you know the winners sometime Sunday night. Have a lovely weekend everyone, toni xx

Ps. I’ve left the store in ‘sale mode’ until Monday.

I’m finally nutting out this panda quilt.

Just when I thought I had it right I realised it wasn’t working for me. I’ve unpicked it, pulled out tufts of hair in frustration over it, binned it, rescued it, unpicked it again, and finally, FINALLY something clicked and I think I can move on and finish it. The usual happy quilt process LOL.

IMG_0633 2My boys are helping me out, one’s sitting on the table and one’s under it at my feet. Actually they’re both getting in the way but who am I to argue with the wee furry beasts.

Friday night has gone to the dogs.

Hey guys, I’ve put the Kennel Club, A Pug’s Life, Canine Capers, and Hound Dogs on special this weekend. The usual price $4 for the PDF and $11.50 for the printed patterns.

I’ve also put the Reindeer Games quilt on special.Web-Reindeer-Games-1200Tutti Fruity pandas are on my work table, amongst other things this week. I found them wallowing in my scrap bin and thought I’d do some work on them. I’m jumping from project to project at the moment, I can’t quite settle to one quilt LOL.

Enjoy your weekend lovely people, toni xx
