Alice + the Rabbit

I’m lateI’m late! For a very important date! No time to say ‘hello, goodbye,’ I’m late, I’m late, I’m late … thanks everyone for your patience, the last instalment of the Paper Dolls Sew-along is ready to go. As you know, I totally messed up the numbering of the instalments towards the end. You will see from the main Paper Dolls page that my lovely and overworked volunteer Terri has helped me upload them as single templates now. I should’ve done this in the first place but we live and learn.

20% off all PDF patterns this weekend!

Click on the images below to download the updated ‘Starting’ instructions, the ‘Finishing’ instructions, and the missing boy doll. You will find the balloon template in Block 2. I do apologise for messing up towards the end, your quilt will be fine, I just got the order of the instalments mixed up. I’ll let y’all know when the bonus Christmas blocks are ready. Give me a couple of weeks to get them done.

The lovely Julie did a wonderful job quilting my quilt, she used an all-over cloud pattern that suits the quilt perfectly. Julie is based in NSW and offers an affordable all-over quilting service (Gammill machine). Her details are as follows – Julie’s Edge to Edge Quilting T: (02) 4992 1768. Thanks Julie! xx

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the lovely people at Thermoweb who have sponsored this year’s sew-along. I genuinely love their products and would recommend, without hesitation, their HeatnBond fusible products. Love to you guys, I can’t wait to get started on next year’s Fairytale sew-along! xx

Well, that’s it from me. It’s been a really rough couple of weeks with our neighbour making death threats again. I’ve spent too much time with the police and mental health services trying to get something, anything done to stop it happening. I’m so utterly tired, angry, scared, and frustrated. I’m giving myself a day off before I get back to the sloths. Much love to y’all, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, stay safe and healthy, toni xx

  1. This is such a lovely quilt. I can’t thank you enough for sharing it. I don’t know if I will ever have the time to make the entire quilt, but I plan to make a smaller quilt using a selection of the patterns. Thank you again for your generosity. On a side note, I was sorry to hear that the nightmare with your neighbor continues. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers with a wish that you have the continued strength to handle this situation.

  2. This is an amazing collection and so much hard, beautiful creative work on your part! Thank you so much! Love the paper dolls! As for your situation, it just astounds me how little can be done to protect people from neighbours at the end of the day…take care there!!!

  3. Yes Toni stress is the definite cause of so many illnesses. It is a priority and not selfish to take care of you. Women find that difficult. Whatever gives you pleasure, peace and quite and nature, I know you love these. A day where you chill, relax and think of nothing. All the best x 😘
