Paper Dolls + Labor Day Sale

Hello lovely quilters, are you ready for the next instalment of our Thermoweb Paper Dolls Sew-Along?

This week is a little different. Block #29 is really Block #23. The block order got a little mixed up when I had to pack everything up for a house inspection. If you’ve already sewn the blocks together, don’t fret, keep it as Block #29.

Confused? No worries, I will provide you with a layout map of the blocks when we are ready to put the quilt together.

Click on the drawn image below to download this week’s templates. You can find the previous files, plus the bonus blocks, on the Paper Dolls Sew-Along page (see the menu).

Due to popular request I’ve included the wheelchair block with this week’s instalment. If you remove the pigtails from the template you will have a boy template.

Do you like the scrappy, pieced border? You will need lots of coloured scraps that measure 4 1/4in square – start collecting! Throw in some black & white print fabrics for contrast.

This weekend is Labor Day weekend in the US and Etsy has asked us to participate in their sale. You can get 20% off all PDF patterns in-store until Monday.

Before I forget, I’ve had a few emails asking if I could send out the printed templates for the Paper Dolls. The answer is ‘yes’ but I have to charge for printing and postage. The full set of templates, sent to you by mail, will cost Aud$14.50 for Australian customers and Aud$17.50 for international customers. Email me if you are interested.

Well I’ve run out of steam LoL. I think I’ve told you everything I need to. It’s time to boil the jug and make a pot of tea. Have a lovely weekend everyone, toni xx
