Hello lovely people, how have you all been this week? We’re heading into Spring, the birds are singing their hearts out and what’s left of our garden is waking up and starting to bloom. Our macadamia nut trees are finally flowering and the bees are deliriously happy. Road signs have popped up everywhere declaring ‘Koala Season’ as the silly buggers forget their road sense in their quest to find a girlfriend.
I’ve been busy in the sewing room remaking some of the missing blocks from the Paper Dolls quilt – long story but I misplaced the bottom row ha ha! While I was doing that I received a message from Linda asking about a wheelchair block. I instantly thought it was the best idea ever and set to work. I hope you like her. If you remove her pigtails you’ll have a boy paper doll. The templates will be released as one of the remaining blocks in the sew-along.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Are you doing anything special? I found a small timber dollhouse at a charity shop just before lockdown. I want to give it a makeover and turn it into the Griswald house for Christmas LoL. I’ll let you know how I get on. Stay safe and healthy, toni xx
