A handmade Christmas.

Good morning y’all, it’s another glorious day here in Brisi. Coffee has been drunk, we’ve been to pick up our farm direct produce boxes, I spoke to an expert about our bees, oohed and aahed over baby chickens and ducks, and now I’m ready to settle down to get some work done.

I hate to bring it up, but it’s that time of year again. It’s time to start thinking about a handmade Christmas. If you’re anything like me, you leave it until November and then it’s an awful rush to get things finished. I remember one year I was still binding a quilt at dawn o’clock on Christmas morning. I was so tired and cranky that Christmas day LoL.

To help you get started, our Christmas Snack Mat patterns are on special this weekend. You can whip up a dozen of these cuties, add a pretty mug, a few chocolates and bingo! you have a gift for teachers, neighbours, friends, and old Aunty Madge.

They are brilliant for Christmas stalls, school and daycare fund raisers, and fetes. I happily give permission for you to make and sell items made using our patterns for these purposes. You can find the patterns in our Etsy and web stores and they are now available in printed formats.

Our cute Scrappy Snowmen quilt pattern is on special this weekend as well. This one is perfect for those cold Winter nights in front of the fire.

I promised everyone a warm weather Christmas quilt this year. At this point all I can is that I’m trying hard to get it done but I’m not sure I’ll make it in time. Sorry peeps. However we have a surfing Summer Santa in our Santa sacks pattern. It will be re-released and ready to go this weekend. I’ll let you know when it’s done.

Have a happy, crafty, handmade weekend everyone! toni xx
