Merry & Bright Santa Sacks

Hi y’all, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates, I hope you had a wonderful day with your family and friends. I was just thinking, it’s been over 20 years since I had a slice of pumpkin pie, I think I’ll have to find a recipe and get baking.

A big thank you and hug to the lovelies at Therm-o-Web for their continuing support.

The Santa sacks have a ‘paper bag’ bottom which gives you more space for those odd shaped gifts and treats. They are really easy to make too. Sorry about the lousy photos, the constantly overcast weather makes it difficult to take a clear photo.

Miss 17 graduated from High School last week. My sweetie has all grown up :oD She’ll be at university (college) next year. Wow, where did the time go?

She’s had a rough week this week, we spent last night at the ER and she was sent home in the wee small hours with a diagnosis of pneumonia and a bag of antibiotics. I’m feeling pretty exhausted tonight so please forgive any mistakes in the Santa sack pattern!

We’re hoping for a relatively quiet weekend, No. 1 daughter is working the polling booths (State election) all day tomorrow and counting votes tomorrow night. I’m just hoping to catch up on some sleep LOL. Our crazy neighbours have caused a lot of trouble this week and broke into our house and car on Sunday.

Anyways, take care and have a lovely weekend, toni xx

  1. Hi Toni, which electorate is your daughter working in? I’m working in the office of Everton as Mr Next Stage is the Returning Officer for Everton. We’ve got 21 polling booths this time!

  2. you have a very beautiful daughter there (I’m sure you know that) and I hope she feels heaps better….. I’m sure the stress at home is not helping anyone… thinking of you and thanks for the pattern – I do love Santa in his thongs..
