How are your preparations coming along for Christmas? Do you celebrate Christmas? Hanukka perhaps? Kwanzaa?
I get to this time of year and suddenly my brain puts the brakes on and I feel like I’m a deer in the headlights. I procrastinate and procrastinate until it’s Christmas Eve and there isn’t a piece of tinsel in the house, much less Christmas food, and it’s panic stations. Luckily my family are very laid back and enjoy a lazy Christmas Day. They’re happy eating vegemite sandwiches and doing jigsaw puzzles. The guilt really gets to me though LOL.
Did you download the free Christmas patterns I put up on the blog yesterday? I’ll load them to the Free Stuff page tonight, that way you will be able to access them at anytime.
Therm-o-Web has sponsored me this year to bring you these projects using their products. I could write a big long blog post about why I use their products, especially HeatnBond Lite, but how about I just tell the truth.
I’ve spent a LOT of time searching for a fusible webbing that did it’s job and this product does it for me. It’s as simple as that. I do, without bias, recommend it above all the other fusible webs I’ve used.
Therm-o-Web sent me some products to giveaway, and these are the winners!
Nancy T. and Sue P. who have each won a pack of HeatnBond Inkjet Transfer Sheets (make your own t-shirt decals!). I had heaps of fun playing with this product. I had to adjust the pressing time because of the high humidity here, but once I got that sorted, it was brilliant. I will put up a tutorial for it, but first I need to work out how to deal with copyright on the downloadable images.
Pauline L. and Tracee F. who have each won a pack of HeatnBond Iron-on Glossy Vinyl. I haven’t tried this out yet – I’m waiting for less stormy (wet), humid weather. I’m really looking forward to playing with it! Stay tuned!
Heather D. who has won a pack of HeatnBond Lite Fusible Webbing. My favourite!
, who has won a copy of my Happy Quilts
Book. Thank you all for entering and congratulations to the winners, I’ve sent you all an email.
I’m sure there was some other stuff I wanted to talk about, but it’s late, and my mouth is hurting. I had a baby tooth removed from between my adult teeth today. A BABY tooth, 40 years after it supposedly fell out LOL. I’m special.
Happy Thursday everyone, toni xx
