It’s Four Dollar Friday again. This week’s pattern is Fishy Fishy Fishy. Pop on over to the website to get your copy! The website company I use, Weebly, has introduced a instant download service for digital files. The Four Dollar Fishy Fishy Fishy pattern is the first one I’ve used this with. Please let me know if you have any difficulties with it. I’ll slowly upload more files as the weeks go on.
Four Dollar Friday will be slightly different next week because it’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday. EVERYTHING will be on sale! So remember to pop on by next week. I haven’t shown you the Birthday Club giveaway this month have I? I’m afraid you will have to wait a bit longer, at least until the camera battery is charged *grin*. We’ve got to the stage in our house where the floor is covered in cables and power packs. Everybody always wants their devices charged at the same time. Shortly we will have to set up a timetable for them LOL. Rest assured there is a Birthday Club giveaway!
As the year gets older, it also gets busier. The kids are doing exams and all the other things that come with the end of the school year. I think I’ve spent more time in the car this week than not. My daughters have taken up Archery and we’ve spent the past couple of weekends getting them to and from lessons. They were black and blue from ”bowstring slap’ the first week they went. I’m happy to say that last week there was only one snap! Google the images for bowstring slap and you’ll see what I mean! Painful!
The fairy quilt has gone to the lovely Fiona from Bubz Rugz to be quilted. There is still a little bit to do on the quilt, but the fabric is of the fraying kind and I can’t do anymore until it’s quilted and a lot more stable. It will be another couple of weeks before the pattern will be available. Thank you for helping me out Fiona!
I have four pre-quilts on the sewing table this week. The pandas are one of them. I’m also working on some Catnip Kitties (softies) for Kindred Stitches Magazine. Christmas may have to be put on hold this year! LOL
Are you ready for Christmas? It’s still not December so saying the word “Christmas” out loud gets a coin the swear-jar in our house *grin*. I’m not sure I want a Tree this year, I’m thinking I might just fill the house with fairy lights and hang decorations from the walls and furniture. A tree somehow makes me feel claustrophobic. Weird I know, but if you had my very dysfunctional family you would probably understand LOL.
Have a lovely weekend everyone, are you doing anything special?
