Friday on my mind…

Hi everyone,

How has your week been?  Ours has flown past.  I have so much to share, but I am running out of time this afternoon.  I’ll pop back in sometime this weekend and catch up with you all.

Telstra, our internet provider, has finally been out to fix our internet connection.  Mmmm…  and talked us into buying a new modem/router.  After two months of intermittent internet/email access and at least a dozen dropouts a day, I’m hoping that this will fix everything.  It’s a project for the weekend, it will take some time to change all the cables over.

I don’t think the modem is the problem though, the neighbourhood in general is having internet issues and I’d be very surprised if they all have dodgy modems!  If you have sent me an email recently and you haven’t received a reply, please message me again.  The chances are I didn’t receive your email, or my reply got lost in Telstra’s very special cyber space.

This week’s Four Dollar Friday pattern is Puppy Love.  It comes with a Happy Halloween bonus pattern, Wendy the Witch.  All you have to do is purchase a copy of the Four Dollar Friday Puppy Love pattern and I’ll send you Wendy the Witch as a freebie!  You can find the details on the webstore here.

Congratulations to Trish from Wyndham, Victoria!   Trish is the winner of October’s Birthday Club giveaway. I will be in contact shortly.  Trish has won a pack of Tilda fabrics and a PDF pattern of her choice.  Pop on over to the website to sign up!

The Cowboy Boot quilt (commissioned by Homespun magazine) is off being quilted.  Yay, another deadline to cross off my list.

And the Flower Fairies are almost done, just a little bit of stitching to go and they can be quilted and the pattern written.  The templates may take a while to run through Illustrator!  This quilt will be run as a block of the month in some stores.  Stay tuned for further details later in the year.

I must run, it’s school pickup time and I forgot to buy some meat for dinner.  Any suggestions?  I’m over the “what’s for dinner” question!
