Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thank you for your continued support over 2013. We are having a short Christmas break from today, 20th December and will be back with Red Boots and Four Dollar Friday on Friday, 10th January, 2014.
Before I forget, this month’s Birthday Club prize is a $25 gift voucher from the Fat Quarter Shop. You can sign up for the Birthday Club here on my website. I’ll announce the winner on the 10th January, 2014.
I can’t believe how quickly December has whizzed by. It’s nearly 1pm here and I haven’t had the chance to have breakfast yet. December has been so busy for our family and it’s time to take a deep breath and have some time off. The man of the house should be home from work shortly and he has a month off work *yay*. It will be good to have him home for dinner every night, and for him to be off shift for four weeks! He doesn’t know it yet but I’m having a month off doing the dishes! LOL
Our new kitten is a super-kitty! I swear he has super-powers of endless energy and can fly. Have you ever seen a sugar-glider… the way they leap from a branch, spread out their paws and fly? Well super-kitty does that. He takes a daredevil leap, spreads out his legs, sticks out his claws and flies. It means we can’t corral him in anyone spot. Nobody is safe :oD He has also had about 20 names and none have stuck yet. I’m considering calling him J. Edgar Hoover. He hoovers up any form of food on the ground! Needless to say his rear end is being somewhat problematic and poop-aggeddon is a very real thing! Butter wouldn’t melt in this little mouth would it? Don’t you believe it… he is a menace! Mmmm… Dennis the Menace???
I’ve done a little holiday decorating. The fairy lights are up and are soooo pretty. See that little kitty up above? Well he took off with a 5 metre length of lit fairy lights last night. His tail was up, his chin was high and the fairy lights disappeared down the hallway! He’s determined and tenacious!
Well the washing machine has stopped spinning and I have another load of sheets to hang out, so it’s time for me to sign off. I’m hoping the parcel guy comes today as I’m expecting a big fat package from the Fat Quarter Shop and a few missing in the post, please, please, please arrive in time for Xmas, pressies.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year everyone. toni xx
